Five Fab Instagrams Of The Week, In Leopard, Red, and Black

You love Instagram too, right? A fast and fun way to keep up with your friends and to make new ones. Instagrams are also an excellent source for style inspiration- and not all the inspiration comes from 20-somethings. I browse through IG every day, often when I’m otherwise lounging or waiting in line, or at a boring meeting.

I follow about 1,000 accounts, so I don’t see everyone every day. But I do keep my eyes on stylish over-40 women, and appreciate the flair of non-model, “everyday” (although hardly ordinary) women.

Here are a few of my favorite Instagrams from this past week, all featuring some combination of animal print, red, and black (those colors act as neutrals and work well together):

Natalia of In the Writer’s Closet  is a genius with color combinations. Love this animal print sweater with a red moto jacket. Very cool purse too.

Judith of Style Crone has a steadfast heart as well as a brilliant sense of style. She posted a pic of her participation in the recent Women’s March, and along with her message wears a stunning faux animal print coat.

Bev, an expert Yoga practitioner and surfer from Get Dressed And Go is a new addition to IG for me, and her site makes me feel like a sloth sometimes. She’s not combining colors here, but presenting a simple chic black outfit that I want to wear today.

My friend Greetje of No Fear Of Fashion has a well-thought-out and chic wardrobe. I’ve had the pleasure of shopping with her and it was a lively, fun experience. Here she’s up-to-the-minute in an animal print dress and thrifted Jil Sander (yes) bag.

Lovely Conny of Conny Doll Lifestyle is also new to me. I love, love her simple look here: the classic leather skirt with a vibrant red turtleneck, half-tucked and bishop-sleeved.
