What I Wore: Lots Of Black, And A Little Help From My Friends

I wear a lot of black. I’m not depressed or trying to look “slimmer” or any of that. I just like the way I look in it, it’s easy to find in any (thrift) shop, and it doesn’t show the Merlot spills.

All-black head to toe is a bit harsh for me. I opt to add a color, and/or a scarf or necklace, and fun shoes. I like the way this one came out, with a little help from my friends.

I’m not wearing a black dress, but a GAP tee and knit pencil skirt (old, similar). The little velvet shrug (sim) was a thrift find in NYC. I love wearing it; it’s soft and silky and old-fashioned. My reliable Cydwoq booties, earning their keep after three winters. And my vintage bracelet (Citizen Rosebud) and hand crafted necklace (Suzanne Carillo) bring my friends close to me.

I “antiqued” my picture here, with PicMonkey. I was feeling old-fashioned.
I like the way this skirt gives me nice curves.

WAYWT (what are you wearing today?). I hope you’re warm and safe.

Stay fabulous,
