Welcome to Visible Monday #139! If you want to participate, it’s so easy: just go to the bottom of this post for the how-to. Please be kind and leave a link to Not Dead Yet Style in your post.
How to get ready for work in three minutes: Grab a no-iron ruffled shirt (via consignment shop Revolve, similar), pull on denim ankle pants (thrifted at Goodwill, similar), slip into black Nine West flats (via ThredUp). Done!
I am not a big ruffle woman but I do like this Lauren Ralph Lauren wrap blouse. I’ve worn it with denim and with linen trousers, and my black knit pencil skirt. The gorgeous vintage bracelet was my birthday present from Sandy, via Bella’s Etsy shop. It’s my absolute favorite.
Another trick for getting out the door quickly: A Sally Beauty Supply twist-in hair piece. My phony pony, it’s under $10 and a life-saver for busy days. Have you tried one?
And red lipstick: it makes me look like I took some time with my face. |
Now, show us what you’re wearing, Visible Women!!

Thank you for some other informative site. The place else could I get that kind of info written in such an ideal method? I’ve a mission that I am just now operating on, and I’ve been on the glance out for such info.|
Looking very good in this blouse and these trousers. Also the Choies blouses are great… but sold out. Rats.

PS been so rushed off my feet that I have not been able to join Visible Monday.
I love the ruffles, the fall warm colors, and the sheerness of the top! Thanks for hosting the link up!
Oh, lovely blouse, Pretty Patti! Love it quite a lot in this simple presentation … fall-like but not stifling to wear in current weather! I really wanted some extra hair like yours when mine was longer … but it's never available here in auburn!
Thank you again for your time and dedication you put into Visible Monday. I'd never have anyone to show out for if you didn't and it means a lot to me! Today's post is dedicated to you … hope you don't mind!
Love your floral print blouse. Thanks for hosting.

Chic and elegant. You get better with each and every post!
Dear Patti thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment, appreciated! I've been following your blog for quite a while but due to time constraints I hardly ever comment. I would do you an injustice if I did not at least stop by once to comment and mention that you have great style. I also find your blog inspirational. So great to share on Mondays!

Pretty look, it's very classy and not at all too fussy, which is a danger with ruffles. You've pulled it off brilliantly! I haven't tried a phony-pony! My hair colour is hard to match. Thanks for hosting today x
You look great and nobody would ever suspect it is a quick fix outfit! I don't usually like to wear ruffles on top as they make me look too bulky but it has been a long hard lesson as I tend to gravitate to things with ruffles. You look lovely in this blouse so I'm glad you deviated from your non-ruffled norm. Red lipstick looks great on you too! I never wear red as I don't really like to highlight my lips but I do find that even a quick swipe of pink gives a more' 'done' look. I've not yet tried a faux pony but this looks really good on you so I won't rule it out when my hair gets longer!

Thanks for hosting Patti. Great outfit you have on, love the top!
I am not much for ruffles on me but I like them on others. Your blouse is so feminine and I adore the print! Your hair looks great pulled back, by the way.
Your hair looks great like that, Patti, and the ruffled blouse is so pretty on you, it makes me wonder why you don't get ruffled more often! Gorgeous as always, and as ever a wonderful hostess. xxx
I love this blouse…so feminine and fun! Thank you for hosting the link up Patti!!!
xo,
Janise
You look gorgeous all ruffled! I'm intrigued by the hair thingy. Would love a view of the back! xo JJ
Awww you're looking so fresh & pretty in this floral top Patti – and I love your hair up that way!!!!

I adore wrap blouses! The ruffles and floral print are frosting on the figurative cupcake. π Thanks for hosting this link up! T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com
You look ladylike yet professional in this look! The ruffles and floral prints soften up the otherwise sharp look.

Fabulous top, and I love your hair.
Thank you for this lovely link up
I love how well you're turned out considering the time it took, Patti – that blouse is stunning and I LOVE your hair like this! Dontcha just love an outfit that takes minutes to put on… that's why I love the summer! I'm not looking forward to having to wear three pairs of socks every day to stop my toes going numb, but you wouldn't know about that, =sniff= (heehee)
Thanks so much for hosting and have a lovely week!

I'm rather partial to a ruffle and a flounce and that blouse suits you perfectly! Loving the hair. x
No iron? I'm so in! Loving the dark floral print too – I hear this is a fall trend? You're always so au courant, m'dear! π
I love that floral blouse Patti. I agree a non-ironed ruffled shirt makes getting ready much easier.
BTW, I can totally see you wearing the pieces I am wearing in today's outfit. Happy Monday!!
I'm not one for ruffles either, but I love this blouse with the floral print. So pretty on you!
Amazingly well spent three minutes! Who has time for more and really, all evidence here shows, who need more. You look great. Love the ruffled blouse. Thanks so much for hosting xx
What a pretty romantic look without being overly feminine. I like ruffles but typical in tops and and not really in skirts.
BTW, I recently started a link up on Thursdays and hope that you will join me.

Patti, I love your ideas on how to get ready so quickly, especially if I can look as put together as you do and as adorable. Your ruffled blouse is a wonderful staple to have. I'm seriously thinking I need one of those fun hair pieces, might just run on out and find one tomorrow, thanks for the tip.
Very pretty!
You look lovely in this ruffle top & your hair looks great up! Have a great week:)

That is such a pretty outfit; the ruffles are divine! I've been wanting to try a faux hairpiece, thanks for the links!
A ruffly Patti – lurvs it! I'm one of your "regulars" now … thank you so much for hosting.
I'd love a phony pony, but I've never found one to match my hair. No-iron ruffles are THE way to go…nothing more challenging in the ironing department than ruffles. Ask me how I know. π Your face is always beautiful, with or without red lipstick. Thanks for being the consummate hostess Patti!
I'm partial to a bit of ruffle myself….or tulle…or pink….anything girly, really… π

You look beautiful, Patti. Love the top with these pants. Great look!
I love ruffles and this blouse if gorgeous! π
I like the waist tie, scoopy neck, ankle pants, and pulled-back hair on this. The dark floral ruffles are beautiful. Phony pony, hee hee. Like that.
Well, it SOUNDS easy, and I'm sure you'd look great in one minute or less! With a pretty top like that there's not much to think about. Easy peasy, golly geezy!
Love that pretty blouse, Patty and your hair looks so good pulled back like that!

Really a lovely look for you, love how you paired the blouse with these simple pants and the flats!
What a beautiful blouse! I'm not a big fan of ruffles, either, but sometimes they just work. And this blouse certainly works.
If you hadn't said so I never would've guessed this was an "express look"! I suggest you further explore ruffles because they most definitely look dynamite on you, Patti. Thanks for hosting the linkup π
