One Brilliant Jacket: Visible Monday

vismondayheader

Don’t you agree: one brilliant jacket can light up your closet. This velvet beauty makes me feel full of energy and extra Visible, in the best way. I have lots of ideas of how I’m going to style it in NYC next week. With full skirts, over a Little Black Dress or full trousers, or with a huge scarf at the neck and belt around the middle.

Welcome to Visible Monday. If you want to participate, it’s so easy: just go to the bottom of this post for the how-to. Please be kind and leave a link to Not Dead Yet Style in your post.

I’m going a simple route today with my style and letting the jacket sing. I’ve chosen easy flared, high-waisted jeans (similar) and a hot pink tank (sim), with just a glass pendant (sim) for accessorizing. I found this velvet bombshell at the Etsy shop of Suzanne Carillo (full disclosure: she’s a great friend, but I buy from her because her stuff is the bomb – go check it out asap).
