What I Wore: The Scarf Stays In the Picture

This is a pretty basic outfit: thrifted white linen tunic and Old Navy denim pencil skirt. The addition of a bold scarf-as-belt makes a world of difference. Now there’s a colorful focal point and the rest of the outfit can step back.

The nude platforms by Anne Klein (similar) go with, well, everything, and my red toes pop out nicely. I’m dressed for work in five minutes, woo-hoo! Hoping the rest of the day goes as smoothly, for all of us!

Have a splendid day and stay fabulous,

  1. Love the scarf! It adds just a hint of pirate swagger without looking like a costume.

  2. Oh… must remember this. Such an easy throw on, but yet such an impact. Nice and crisp. Now all I have to do is find a white shirt that fits my bosom….
    You look great.
