Welcome to Visible Monday #21! If you want to participate, it’s so easy: just go to the bottom of this post for the simple how-to.
I was so tickled to find this vintage Louis Vuitton blouse at a re-sale shop in the East Village during my NYC vacation. It is really not a spectacular, show-stopping blouse, but I love the subtle paisley print and sophisticated colors. I think I can wear it a lot of different ways.
I reminds me of another designer, Yves Saint Laurent, in his rich hippie/boho period, so I paired it with western style pale boots and a full skirt. I think I’ve got a 70’s vibe going, but I could be a decade off! The Diesel belt was also a NYC thrift find, for a very frugal $9.
Old Navy skirt, Gianni Bini boots, and somewhat unruly hair today : > |
The blouse reminds me of this YSL 1970’s look |

A very lovely classic print to the blouse. I also love the full blue skirt. It definitely has a floaty bohemian vibe.
Love the vintage look. Green and fashionable to shop vintage.
That blouse is beautiful with that skirt. Good find. I can see you wearing that blouse so many different ways. You look really pretty.
That blouse is lovely
That blouse is fantastic. I love that you paired it with the skirt and the nude boots. Great look!
Thanks for visiting me today!!
You look lovely. Such beautiful colors for you. You are the quintessential sophisticated bohemian!
Thanks for your compliment on Saturday's outfit. I was having a terrible time finding something I was happy with that evening. I ended up being waaay over dressed for the student hangout burrito place we went to for dinner! But once we got to our concert I was fine. That necklace can always elevate my mood.
Patti, thank you for hosting, I always think of Louis in regard to shoes and bags but this blouse is beautiful and vintage to make it ever more special. Great find and beautiful outfit on you. Love your hair like that . Dawn Suitcase Vignettes xo
I LOVE this look Patti (it really suits you): you are spot on with the YSL comparison! It immediately reminded me of a 1971 (British) Vogue YSL shoot by Arthur Elgort… I love that 1970s vibe.
Thank you for your lovely comments on my blog, I've finally uploaded something for visible Monday on yours, I hope you like it!

I am loving those boots with the blue skirt.
The Louis Vuitton blouse is beautiful, the colors go perfectly with your skin and the boots and blouse compliment each other nicely. Your hair is not unruly!
What a fabulous outfit, love, love, love the blouse (and the skirt, and the boots).
Now that's the way to be visible.
