Never try to tell the season by looking at the runway. I came across these designer looks for “Pre-Fall 2015” (gah, that sounds pretentious). But since Pre-Fall and Mid-Winter are pretty much the same thing – right? – here are some of the pieces I really liked. And some reasonably-priced alternatives. All images are from this slideshow at HarpersBazaar.com.
Let me know if any of these outfits tickle your style bone:
Derek Lam shows a sleek, wide lapel trench coat in crimson leather. |
Here’s a cute, very affordable ($40!) version from Romwe. |
On a more boho note, Calvin Klein offers a mountain-climbing multi-textured coat. Love it. |
Not as eye-catching, but a nice price ($180) and very cozy. From Nordie’s. Check
the thrifts and consignment stores too. |
I swooned for the lines and print of this fab Gucci dress. Great length too. |
How about a vintage 1970’s version, for under $25? Via Etsy. |
Proenza Schouler shows a covered-up but form-fitting dress with a funky hemline. |
Got to love this Fendi blanket coat. Not for the coldest of winter days. |
I’d wear this right off the runway (if I had piles of $$$). Michael Kors does everyday style so beautifully. |
I’d recreate the look on the cheap! |
Anything here you’d like to wear?
Stay fabulous,
Visible Monday is on its “off” week this week, so we can recharge, refresh, and watch the football playoffs. ☺ We’ll be back with another awesome Karina Dress giveaway on Monday, January 11th (actually, the Sunday evening before)!
