Whatever you want, for starters. No dress code, No Jacket Required.
But I still want to look modern and fresh and pretty, regardless of who is going to see me today. So this day I chose a casual but deliberate outfit. The cotton trousers are my new favorites, by Old Navy. The fit is relaxed, which is a nice change for my internal organs, from skinny jeans.
The sea-green asymmetrical top (similar) is courtesy of Diane Gilman, a very cool NYC designer who specializes in chic casual pieces. It’s baby-soft and really lovely to wear all day. Oxfords are by Calvin Klein, and the safari hat came from Lowe’s Building Supplies. Yes! never rule out a store as a possible style resource.
Ready for lunch, thrifting and music lessons. And some Netflix love. |

Announcement: It’s a special Visible Monday coming up this weekend! One of my favorite dress designers, Karina Dresses, has agreed to sponsor the First Visible Monday of the Month as a special Giveaway event. Not only is Karina providing the fab dress I’ll be wearing, but they’re going to give away a dress to a lucky reader. Every First Visible Monday – a Karina giveaway, that’s good stuff.
