I’m not talking about a pricey zebra belt or bag. I don’t favor wearing exotic animals to decorate myself, but no judging. I mean a majestic beast.
I grabbed up this fab zebra sweater at the clothing exchange, as part of the Vancouver Blogger Meet-Up. The creative and gorgeous Suzanne Carillo had drawn him on a plain white sweater. How great is that? An original Suzanne C. of my own to wear and feel fabulous.
The zebra sweater goes with everything in my closet, really. I wear him with jeans regularly, and over a black knit dress (sim). Today it’s a knit maxi skirt (similar), a basic black layering tee (sim) and my new Steve Madden boots (here). The zebra cannot be contained, he doesn’t give a you-know-what.
Stay fabulous, and let your creative flag fly,

You and Pete – a match made in heaven! So cool you own a “Suzanne Carillo Original”!
Loving this look on you Patti. I am coveting a long skirt for myself at the moment and yours is just right

Oh my goodness! Impressive article dude! Thank
you so much, However I am going through issues with your RSS.
I don’t know why I can’t join it. Is there anybody else having similar RSS issues?
Anyone who knows the answer will you kindly respond? Thanks!!
Pete. For some reason your Zebra’s name should be Pete. He is fabulous, but it is more likely the lady wearing him, that makes the statement!
lol! I love that name for him. Short and decisive. xo
I would love it verry much if you joined my fashion linkup party! I think you always look so stunning!
thanks so much, Nancy – I’d be delighted.
I could never pull off this look but admire how much you love it!

An SC original that you can wear – how cool is that? I love Mr Zebra and his sarky side-eye, he works beautifully with your flowy maxi. And btw, your hair is magnificent! xxx
Thanks Curtise! He does have his own face, doesn’t he? xo
You did so well at the clothes swap! Such a lovely sweater.
Greetje

Suzanne
Thanks Suzanne, and thanks for creating him. We were meant to be together. : >
Fabulous sweater!
thanks Andrea!
Ha…now that’s a great zebra print! And, of course you should name him…it’s like having your own pet (without the maintenance!).
Love the dichotomy of the boots with this—you’d never know you’re a tropical girl!! jodie

thanks Jodie – I do need to name him, he has personality! : >
This is such a fun look, Patti!
It is a real skill to still look like a classy lady in such a statement jumper.
The maxi gives a feminine touch but the boots toughen everything up again.
I would happily wear this outfit…..especially in the tropical location :oD
