What I Wore: How To Tame Your Wild Octopus

I seem to have gone a little octopus-crazy recently. First there was this cool tee, and I just ordered this necklace from Cirque du Frock’s Etsy shop. In all my years diving I never saw a wild octopus; they are notoriously private animals. And I wouldn’t care to eat one, although there are aficionados of the fare. I just like their soulful eyes and noodly appendages

From Cirque du Frock’s shop – she has lots of captivating stuff.

Today’s octopus tee (similar) was thrifted in NYC for about $10 – more than I usually pay for a thrift tee, but I fell for the sequined sea creature. I don’t think my exposed camisole straps are fetching, but that’s the wonder of photography — you can “see” everything, later.

My silver roots are starting to show, so it’s time for a “blending” visit to the stylist. She lightens a few sections of my hair and tones down the yellow-blonde, to help mask the demarcation. It’s going to be a long road!

The khakis are from GAP, the shoes are Anne Klein (sim), about three years old, and the two-tone bracelet (sim) is thrifted.

I’m leaving Friday morning for the Vancouver Blogger Meet-Up. I am fired up and a little anxious to be meeting so many new people at one time. I have heard from some of the other attendees that they feel the same – so we should relax in unison. ツ

Stay fabulous,
