What I Wore: A Blur Of Color And Light

I’m just getting around to learning the features of my Canon SX700 camera. Experimenting with the “creative” mode on my new camera has resulted in some crazy bloggable images. I think these smudged, super-highlighted shots really capture my Karina Ruby dress. The dress is bright, saturated, and has lots of movement.

I like the way my red lips pop out against my (overexposed) skin. And this arty filter is a great wrinkle and freckle softener, while still capturing my honest expression.

This Ruby dress (similar) is splendid for any body shape: it’s a faux-wrap with a modest vee-neck and full skirt. I added only my favorite blue suede wedges (similar) and Wendy B ring.

You can dance if you want to.
My Wendy Brandes “G” ring really shines.

Are you using any new filters or modes to change up your pics?

Stay fabulous,
