I usually dress in a tailored/modern style, as in one classic piece plus a touch of whimsy. Like a pencil skirt with a doggie sweater, or a simple black dress with personality shoes. I think we all have multiple style personalities though, and today I felt like Old Hippie.

Welcome to Visible Monday. If you want to participate, it’s so easy: just go to the bottom of this post for the how-to. Link back to Not Dead Yet Style if you like – we’re on Easy Does It “rules” now!

This fab paisley caftan is from Pink Cheetah (Becky)’s Etsy shop, and is likely from the 80’s or 90’s. The paisley and embroidered tunic says Hippie Momma to me. It’s cut all the way up the sides, so it needs leggings, but I might sew the sides up so I can wear it as a dress too.

Pardon the bare feet! But they just merge with the hippie tunic. And also, fresh pedicure. 😊

The outfit calls for boho accessories all the way, so I’m wearing a vintage steampunk cuff from Bella’s Etsy store, and a fringed pendant (retail! from Nordie’s).

The hair today is a topper by Jon Renau. It’s naturally straight but I pin-curled it to match my own hair.

I’ve been doing my shopping today and went to indy shops. I love the fact that you’re not only helping local businesses, but you’re getting gifts that are more unique. Who wants to look the same as everyone else?
