Some dresses have earned a special place in our closets, right? The ones that always fit and flatter, are easy care, and lend themselves to all kinds of accessories and occasions.
|Welcome to Visible Monday. If you want to participate, it’s so easy: just go to the bottom of this post for the how-to. Please be kind and leave a link to Not Dead Yet Style in your post.|
This classic Karina Ruby dress as seen lots of action, from New York City, to the downtown pizza joint, to easy travel wear, and a “nice” dinner out with Sandy. It’s a faux wrap but with long ties that make it even more versatile. I love the full skirt and three-quarter sleeves, and well, every little thing about it.
Today I added a vibrant Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier scarf silk scarf (similar) – because why go small? Old black booties by Sofft (sim) have been re-soled, because they’re too good to let go. Bold vintage cuff from Citizen Rosebud, and I’m wearing my favorite hair by Ellen Wille, the “Wiki”.
Now, let’s see what’s in your closet, Visible Women.

Wholeness with myself and with all beings.More to come :-)Thanks for being part of such a scintillating coniorsatven.Twitter:

Excellent Karina dress. I have one too and just refound it when I was going through my closet – aka bottomless pit. Yes, these are awesome garments. No wonder you get so much wear from yours. It looks fantastic the way you’ve styled it with the scarf and booties.
I probably don’t wear dresses as much as I like, but deep down I absolutely love them!! They are the perfect all in one…and then the scarf is the icing on top!!
I love the scarf with your dress!!
I have a Karina dress that I love because it’s so versatile. This one is great. And I love the scarf you are wearing!

Love the wind blown photo too! It shows the detail of that lovely dress. Hope you had a fab Easter Patti x
I agree about having a favorite because it can take on so many lives. Great dress and look. And such magic can be made with a great scarf.
I love reading that you got these boots resoled; I resole so many shoes. I don’t understand the throwaway mentality! Your scarf is fresh, and really hits exactly the right note for spring. xx
You’re so right! A favourite dress that can go anywhere and be many things… no wardrobe is complete without one. Something simple, easy to wear and flattering.
