I think you cannot go wrong wearing black and white. It’s always chic, flattering, and covers the dirt. Today I am wearing my favorite maxi skirt, a vintage 70’s treasure from Vix’s shop.
Welcome to Visible Monday. If you want to participate, it’s so easy: just go to the bottom of this post for the how-to. Please be kind and leave a link to Not Dead Yet Style in your post. |
I’ve worn this skirt with purple (here) and other tops, but I really appreciate the look of a black-and-white top (similar). Everything works together and flows, and makes me happy. I added a thrifted pearl and tassel necklace (sim) and black booties (sim). I love the quiet black and white scarf (sim) thrown over the shoulders.

I adore the Greek key pattern at the hem. Reminds me of classic New York City coffee cups.
The guidelines to participate in the Visible Monday Link-Up are so simple:

Autumn is the best time to dress up. Dress can be said to be “queen” dress, it is also “dignified and elegant” name. It is unpredictable and has many variants, can be used as a suitable object to shape the digital proportion. According to design needs, it can create different surfaces and intermediate spaces. It does not require too much elastic material, because the “one-piece” dress worn corresponds to the correct “full body” dress. No matter what your style is, you will always find clothes on the street windows.
I love the top and skirt together! Can’t ever go wrong with the classic white and black look!

I love black and white and your outfit is lovely. Especially the Greek key on the skirt – very unusual.
I wish my hair would go silver at the back; its only at the front and the back is still grey…..

Neat outfit! That skirt is fabulous. I am actually thinking about having my maxi skirts shortened. But can’t quite get myself to do it yet.
Have a great week!

ooo, Silver Hair is cool. Goes great with B&W too. I like that peek-a-boo white pleat in the back of the black blouse. Nice surprise. Tres elegante.
Oh Patti, if I had found that skirt before you did, you wouldn’t be wearing it in your post! I would have snagged it in a heartbeat. Love 70s maxi skirts. They come in so many very cool prints and that one is particularly exceptional. And black and white as a combo is one of my favorites, as it is a great backdrop for adding bright colors. Love how the scarf and the tassel necklace look paired with the outfit too.
Beautiful and elegant, Patti. Love this look.
Loving your maxi skirt, great styling Patti ! Kisses

Hi Patti! I love the pattern on the skirt, and it looks quite glamorous. Styling with the flowing scarf over your shoulder is a lovely touch as well. I always look at your choices below, and noticed no wine glass, mm could it be because it is before 12 am?
π Love the classic look with the Patti touch. π
