(At Least) Six Fab Ways To Style A Scarf

There are dozens of videos out there on how to style a scarf; here and here are two of my favorites. They’re all worth a look, to learn some new and creative ways to tie. Some techniques require more of a David Copperfield talent than the average woman possesses (Here’s what I’m talking about, for example. Gorgeous, but I feel like I have two left hands.)

Here, though, you’ll find real-life 40+ women showing how they wear their scarves, and looking fabulous:

Andrea of Living On Cloud Nine and her friend Jo-Lynne do a simple but stylish infinity loop. Leopard is always a big yes for accessories, imho.

At Dreamz -n-Wishz Lisa uses the multiple wrap technique and finishes looking so smart. Love her monochromatic look.

The Secondhand Years shows gorgeous Curtise in not one, but two scarf styles. They pick up the tartan of her skirts, how cool is that?

At Fashion For Giants, Gracey rocks this wool infinity scarf. It makes her outfit so cool and memorable.

Trina at Trina’s Tea Time went with the weekend’s big sporting event for her theme. She’s adorable, this one.

Mary puts a bow on it. What a stylish look, with her plaid pea-coat and OTK boots.

  1. I just noticed this post, what an honor to be included here. You are so kind. I was hoping to pull up the live chat but I actually flew into Florida last night and wasn’t able to pull it off. I have no doubt you were fabulous. I’m once again in Jacksonville, too bad its not closer so we could meet up for lunch this week.
I’ve been giving the little book “How to tie a scarf” which includes at least 25 different versions as a little gift to friends and instead of wrapping it with paper, I wrap a scarf around it. I’ll try to remember to do a little fun post on this.

  2. Ooh, thanks for including me, Patti! I confess to being an utterly lazy and uninspired scarf wearer, I just throw them on for warmth and hope the colours work! xxx

    • it works! I am a lazy scarfer too, but it’s hard to go very wrong. Yours look yummy. xo

  3. I’m with you Suzanne, I almost always wear the never ending scarf and double it up. Making it look good only requires an extra couple of minutes. Thanks for the examples Patti!

  4. Love these examples.

I admit to being lazy when it comes to tying my scarf.

I’ll have to see if I can pop by for Saturday night.

    bisous
