Welcome to Visible Monday #65! If you want to participate, it’s so
easy: just go to the bottom of this post for the simple how-to.
I’m mixing neutrals today, and using shape and texture to add interest. The coffee colored blouse has an 80’s vibe. I thrifted it on our trip to St. Petersburg last month.
The black Isaac Mizrahi for Target ballerina skirt is a new favorite, purchased on eBay. I love the full shape and layers of tulle. It could be too young for me, but I think the length and color keep it in line.
The accessories all fall in with the color theme today: animal print flats by DKNY and thrifted bangles. Bright red lipstick is the only dash of color. Still, I feel Visible!

While pencil skirts are always in style, I adore a full skirt too. And this one has swoosh-factor. |

A tooled-leather belt, because there’s a little cowgirl in all of us. |

You are looking so lovely and you look 10 years younger or 20. Anyway, you look fresh and just lovely. I love that top too, it has that vintage inspired look to it. Love this!

Dots and animal print never looked so good. Thanks for hosting Patti. What would we do without you?
I just love the nod to ballet in your outfit… just the slightest hint of "playing pretend"… which is why I posted (or tried to) my "greek goddess" tribute here.
Hi Patti, I have been meaning to tell you that you should show a little leg. I love the skirt and the whole outfit. It looks great on you. I have on black and brown today. My best friend is not a black and brown fan but I love it!
You have a lot of lovely outfits, but this is one of my favorites all time!
oh pattie
that skirt is fabulous

I really like the way you've dressed the skirt down for day, but could use it for a date night too. I used to have a very similar skirt that I used for dress up nights for years. I never had to buy a new dress for anything just paired it with something different on top. Very versatile.
Patti, I have longed and looked and wished for a tulle skirt, and talked myself out of one a zillion times, and then there you are wearing one and looking perfectly lovely. (Actually, the 7-month kitten is the reason one still hasn't made it into my house :P) My other weakness is tie collar blouses, so you are pushing all my style buttons! And looking effortlessly chic and ageless while you do it. But I'm pretty sure you can wear anything and it will look beautiful on you.
Loving the ballerina skirt with its layers and then the delightful surprise of the animal print flats beneath the black and brown combination. Looks like you're ready for the change of seasons!
Patti the full skirt looks great on you. I love the animal print flats that you paired with the outfit.
LOVE that tulle skirt! LOVE IT!

Love your polka dot top 🙂 thanks for hosting …
I am so glad to see someone doing the black-brown combo well. People think it's such a "no-no", but when done right, like you have done here, Patti, I think it is so lovely and classic. Great combo! Love the flats!!!
The only thing "too young" for any of us is a baby-gro! That's a fabulous skirt and do love a tooled leather belt! x
Very nice outfit! And that's one of my favorite shades of brown.
I love a black-brown combination — so YSL!
Patti – the skirt is gorgeous! I am a pencil skirt gal. I've do have a couple of full skirts and they always make me feel so feminine which pencil skirt does not make me fell.

Awesome color mix, that ballerina skirt is really pretty on you.
I like the skirt! It reminds me of a tutu and what girl doesn't love a tutu-esque skirt?
I think this is my favourite out of all the outfits I've seen you in Patti, it's lovely! xx
The tulle looks lovely on you Patti. I like what you did with it. Hmmm, I'm wondering it I could pull it off… wheels still cranking…
Patti you look gorgeous. I love full skirts. I own a couple of tulle ones myself. The blouse is very pretty too. A bow-tie as well as polka dots are two of my favorite things in a blouse. =)
love brown and black right now also navy and black as well!

Good morning, Patti! I love a skirt with a swoosh factor! (The little 5 year old inside me still likes to twirl.) The outfit is beautiful! -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures
Love that top!
I'm linking up with you for the first time today. Thanks for hosting!
i love so much how you mixed the prints! a very cute outfit, you look so pretty, patti!
P.S. Thanks for hosting another spectacular Visible Monday!
Patti, this is marvellous, and probably one of my favourite outfits of yours! Every single piece is outstanding, and made even better in combination. The tulle skirt is particularly lovely.
This is such a lovely outfit. I love black and brown together. Your skirt is so pretty!

Oops, I meant "years ago" 🙂
Year ago I would never have thought of pairing black and brown, but I love it now! Your outfit is adorable, and the shoes are the perfect complement.

This skirt is definitely Not too young for you! In fact it gracefully high lights your slender and sleek frame…that coupled with the elegant way you have styled it..equals chic style perfection for a Visible Monday!
Happy fall to you!
I love the full skirt with ballerina feel. Not young at all!
Those flats are so cute, and it's a perfect finish to your outfit!
I love the tiger print to bridge the gap of brown and black. I think the skirt looks great. What Sally of Already Pretty might call a grown-up tutu! Every girl and lady needs a good skirt to make her feel twirly.
That's the kind of skirt I love to use as a layering piece underneath other full skirts – it's so pretty! And who doesn't love Swoosh Factor!
I used to have flats just like those!
I'm loving that pretty skirt….so feminine & the layers are so divine!!

I like the black and coffee together!
That is such a lovely polka dotted top! Its not too young at all!
This is one of my favorite looks of yours, Patti! I love this! The skirt is so much fun and I really love the neutral on neutral. Great Job! Have a wonderful Monday!
I love how you paired the floaty tulle with the leather belt and animal print shoes. Not too young. You must twirl.
Hi Patti!! You look wonderful! I think the blouse is very feminine and the perfect piece with this skirt. I'm loving the Fall colors, too, even though I suspect you're still hot like we are. Oh well, we can pretend, right?
