What I Wore: Preppy Woman

I like a clean preppy style some days. It’s simple and timeless. I do have to rough it up a little bit, so as not to fit into any one style slot.

A crisp striped shirt (this one by Ralph Lauren was thrifted; similar here) goes with everything. Today I paired it with scruffed-up corduroys from GAP (similar) and a skinny yellow belt for a pop. The oxfords are from Calvin Klein (similar), who can be relied on to deliver a clean look.

I’m wearing my clip-in bangs; straight hair has a more classic look.
With a Tahari blazer (thrifted, similar) I could almost go to the office – except I am retired.  : >
