I absolutely love this velvet skirt. I found it at a Housing Works thrift in NYC, for the incredibly low price of $15. I think the cashier at the thrift wanted to stop me so she could have it. I love the images, the colors and the texture. Oh, and the length and fit.
If anyone knows more about the image of the goddess, please let me know. My best guess is a Chinese god, like those painted on Thai temple walls.
The black linen J Jill shirt (similar) was also thrifted. The gorgeous necklace – it goes so beautifully with my vintage bracelet – was hand-crafted by Suzanne Carillo. Thank you, Suzanne, for your creativity and kindness.
