How I Punked Up A Long Linen Skirt

I have to thank my fabulous friends Pao and Melanie for this look. When I tried this linen skirt (similar) on at a Vancouver thrift store, I thought “too mumsey.” Melanie immediately said, “Paint a black circle on it.” And Pao said, “The fabric is worth more than the price.”

So I had to buy it (it cost less than a cappuccino anyway). I don’t care to look mumsey yet, so I added my leopard print camisole (sim) under a black tank (sim), a big black belt (sim), and a fab necklace designed by Melanie herself (there is no peer for her artwork). This outfit is a group project, and it turned out pretty well. I haven’t painted the skirt yet, but there’s time.

Yes the skirt has pockets! Anne Klein wedge sandals, about 100 years old.
Playing with my exposures again – I like this cooled-down color wash. I look so calm.

Stay fabulous,
