Who doesn’t like a flattering, easy-care dress? Year-round, I reach for dresses when I want to look pulled-together with minimum effort. It’s no secret that one of my favorite designers is Karina.
If you haven’t checked out Karina’s styles yet, please do. Not just because the dresses are pretty, versatile, and machine washable (multiple times, I tell you!). But Karina’s company is so cool, too. It’s in Brooklyn and that’s where the dresses are made – right there in Brooklyn USA. That’s becoming a rare phenomenon.
For you happy Karina dress owners, during October (Frocktober!) Karina is sponsoring a contest: send them a video and qualify to win a free dress. See all the details here.
Here’s a few of my moments in Karina dresses:
Classic, conservative styling with faux pearls and a long cardi. Karina Megan dress. |
The Megan again, punked up with a studded belt, tights and booties. |
The Carmen dress, simple casual styling for a statement print. |
The Audrey! An iconic dress that’s surprisingly versatile. I’ve worn it many times for many happy occasions. |

You don't look like a fifty something woman. 🙂
The frocks are really pretty on you. Â That dress with Audrey Hepburn on it is so retro.
Love how you wore every one of these dresses so well Patti!Â
Hi Patti,
I really love the way you play with dresses. All these styles are fun But my fav remains the first one (Â "the conservative"). Chicissimo!xo,
Anne
Ohhhhh, these dresses are sooo pretty. I especially love the Audrey one.
Lovely dresses and I really like them with black tights. Â I do not do fashion photography any more (taking the photos was too difficult) but I still like to check yours. Â Your outfits are nice and down to earth.
The aubrey dress is so fun!

I love all of the Karina dresses I've ever seen. Sadly they're outside my price range, but I will keep oogling. Especially love that last one on you.
I love comfortably, easy dresses. They are the best solution for just about any day. That first outfit is darling – I love the black cardigan layered over the top of it. So classic, too!

These are beautiful dresses. I have to say the Audrey is my favourite. The stripes with the image are just right! And then the Carmen… Hm. You wear them all brilliantly! Fantastic company.
I love the Carmen dress.
Patti, you look so good in these dresses!!  The first photo is a showstopper.  I love the black/white against the pink wall, with a peek of the stonework fireplace.     Have a great weekend.  I'll see you Monday 🙂
