Effortless Print Mixing With A Dress: Visible Monday

Effortless print mixing. Mixing prints is an artistic and fun way to add interest to your wardrobe, and it’s easy. There are lots of tips and tricks on Pinterest, and in style blogs. Being ever so slightly lazy, I found a “cheat” that does all the hard work on its own.

Welcome to Visible Monday. If you want to participate, it’s so easy: just go to the bottom of this post for the how-to. Link back to Not Dead Yet Style if you like – we’re on Easy Does It “rules” now!

I discovered this flowy dress at a consignment shop, with the tags still on (I guess not everyone loves a pre-mixed print?). It’s from ASOS, usually a more youth-oriented retailer than I choose, but the dress captures my un-stuffy style. And delivers the print mixing, no strategy required.

Dots on top and flowers on the bottom, and a sweet asymmetrical closure. I wore the dress for this pic with dressy leather platforms and a silver cuff bracelet. Ready for date night. 😊

Dresses are truly the easiest way to clothe ourselves – a dress plus shoes and some jewelry make a complete look. I often wear a casual dress for bike rides, movies, volunteering, or meeting my sis for lunch.

And by changing dressy leather sling-backs for funky red sneakers, I can change the vibe of the outfit. Add a straw fedora and I’m out the door. Adventures in the sub-tropics ahead!
