When I want to wear something extra-easy, I choose Friday. No special reason, just the long-standing habit, I guess, of winding down the week. Since I am working on busting my ruts, maybe I should try dressing to the nines on Friday some time?
Today I wore a blue linen button down (thrifted) with a cute striped skirt from Shabby Apple (I won it in a giveaway from Ariane of Style Sud-Est). I added just a skinny yellow belt and bangle, and nude sandals I bought on eBay a few months ago. I am staying faithful to my shopping diet, save for a small purchase from Megan Mae, to help her clear out her closet, of course! ☺
The skirt is lightweight and has the cutest bias-set pockets. |
Fab kitty from Bella’s Etsy shop makes any shirt more joyful. |

This is a great look on you, Pattti – very much your style and fit, but I like the stripes and blue linen with the bright yellow as a change from your usual lovely florals. Perfect for an easy Friday! xxxx
Great outfit. I adore the skirt! When you want to clean out your closet, here's a taker π

I LOOOOVE this skirt! Been looking for one that has this type of louche, easy fit. Looks great on you!
I love the pop of yellow with those sassy stripes. That cat brooch is gorgeous! x
You've posted some really fresh looks this summer, Patti, demonstrating that great style is truly possible without spending a lot of money.
I love the skirt!! I might break a shopping diet for that one.
That skirt is so pretty.
Very cute, carefree, and relaxed. Perfect summery outfit!
Lovely combination of stripes with your chambray shirt plus a bit of colour.
You are right, Friday is perfect for a more relaxed look not only since the invention of "Casual Fridays".

I love this! And the kitteh pin. Congratulations on your steadfastness with the understandable slip. I shall try to follow your example.
Thanks for breaking your shopping diet to support me, Patti! I do appreciate it. I adore your amazing striped skirt with those mega-cool pockets. I need to get on board this Monday and remember to link up. Been so braindead lately!
I love stripes and your striped skirt is cute. Nice pairing with the chambray top. π
