Welcome to Visible Monday #55! If you want to participate, it’s so
easy: just go to the bottom of this post for the simple how-to.
This breezy cotton tunic is a new favorite. It’s from MarketPlace, a fair trade, not-for-profit group that offers Indian women an opportunity to sell their products and make a meaningful living. The tunic actually curves in at the waist, has perfect pockets and can be machine washed and worn without ironing. Oh, yes, no ironing for an all-cotton blouse! I’m wearing it for a casual work look here, but it would be cool with white jeans, or over a swimsuit.
I added just a basic camisole, my black pencil skirt (Laundry) and ankle booties (Soft). I feel visible and comfortable, and very “me”.

The beaded necklace was created by a friend. |

This tunic actually has a bit of a waist – love that feature. |

I think I need the tunic in white too. |

The tunic is great shape and the color looks beautiful with your cascade of hair. A perfect marriage of style and the important work of supporting women.
I didnt participate this week and it looks like the best VM yet! Loads of color and comfort here. I am a big fan of Marketplace India, and you make a lovely model of the casual elegance and quality of their clothing.
I am a huge tunic fan but I really need to wear the ones that curve in like these. I love both the styles you show. And I appreciate the fact that they are fair trade. Great post!
That is a fantastic top! I especially love the idea of wearing it over a swimsuit. And the fact that it's fair trade just makes it so loveable 🙂

I love the colours in your printed tunic, it looks quite comfortable too! -xo
Patti–this is a perfect summer look and it's great to see you in House of India!
Love that print, and oh my, a tunic with waist shaping? Be still my heart.
Glad to be back for Visible Monday. Thanks, Patti!
I love love their stuff so much! Someday I'll purchase something…
The top looks lovely on you. I can see you in the white for sure!
You look stylish and comfortable at once. A hard look to achieve. Great pattern on that tunic.
Nice tunic & having made myself visible today I need to add my link to your post!
you look stunning in that top
Xo Megan
Lovely! And I love the one in white – so cute and versatile. 🙂
Cute tunic! I never iron anything, so that style is perfect for me. That's part of the reason I dress so casually, I guess, but even when I worked outside the home as a therapist, most of my suits were knit and never needed ironing. 🙂
your tunic is so cute, i like the ethno look so much! you are looking very pretty and visible. i join in for the first time and unfortunately i was not able to add a foto, sorry for that.
Oh I love the colors of that tunic! Great style too, the longer length and the pockets make it interesting.
Hi Patti! So interesting about where you purchased that tunic. I was just reading about sustainable fashion this morning and then I find you are wearing it. You are so on trend. 🙂 You look great in your sassy little outfit too. The adorable booties give it that edge I love so much. So nice to see your smile every Monday. It makes me look forward to them of course. 🙂
Just my style Patti, – a tunic with pockets and a terrific pattern! It looks like it would be fun to wear with anything!

Hi Patti,
I'm a total tunic person and I've already been on that web-site twice! I think I'm narrowing it down.

Gorgeous tunic. I can see it with skinny jeans and boots when the weather gets cooler 🙂
Love that tunic on you. And yes cotton for summer is a luxury! I bought one tunic from the Philippines and it's cotton too and just love to wear it everyday so comfy and light. ^_^ Thanks for sharing.

Great tunic! It reminds me a lot of the Indian tunics I'm always admiring in the thrift store. I've bought a couple, but I wind up not wearing them because they don't fit my style. I love how you layered it with a skirt! Great idea.
I know your post is about the tunic but your amazing cats are stealing the show!
I fabulous Patti, love the tunic!
Looks good on you but whatever you wear you are a stunner!
