Today’s look is business on the top and party on the bottom. I really like to mix pieces I already own with something new-to-me, don’t you? It keeps me from thinking I need a new wardrobe every season (I may crave one, but I sure don’t need one).

Welcome to Visible Monday. If you want to participate, it’s so easy: just go to the bottom of this post for the how-to. Please be kind and leave a link to Not Dead Yet Style in your post.

This look is a all thrifted, except the shoes, and it contains a mix of old and new. I always feel special in this Trina Turk tuxedo jacket (similar). It’s cut just right for my frame. The colorful Desigual skirt (sim) is a new thrifted piece, and I adore the colors. Next time, I’m wearing the skirt with a dark floral blouse to really mix things up. I chose a thrifted vintage bib necklace (sim) and a treasured pink bracelet (sim), from my friend B.

It’s good to hold on to belts, I think, as they always come around. This funky one is ancient.

Love the colors and print, and the crochet at the hemline. Ever so slightly Boho. Kitty is bored.

Now, let’s see what’s in your closet, Visible Women.

The guidelines to participate in the Visible Monday Link-Up are so simple:

  1. Love the boots, Patti. With the skirt, I feel that the look could’ve gone folksy so easily but those boots added a very cool, edgy punch.

  2. Elegant outfit Patti, fully agree that a mix of old and new is great and who needs a new wardrobe every season?

  3. I love mashing different styles, textures, patterns and colours together. Your skirt is lovely and I’m longing for the better weather so that I can get out some of my lovely shoes again

  4. I love this outfit, Patti! What fabulous pieces you found! Trina Turk clothes are so well made. I bought a top last year that looked like nothing special on the hanger, but it’s like magic when I put it on. It’s flattering and makes me feel great. And I adore Desigual – such fun designs! You’ll have so much fun with that skirt!

Thanks for link up & have a wonderful week!

  5. With a belted jacket and print skirt you’re good to go for most occasions. This is a great ensemble and you look fabulous. How long clay you’ve been to find such great thrifted pieces. Thanks for sharing the inspirations and the reminder to stay visible.

  6. The skirt really brighten up the look, and makes the outfit fun (but business-like enough). You really know how to spot a good piece!

  7. Cute and clever outfit. I am always drawn to embroidery, and this skirt is especially pretty. Thanks for the ideas!
