I love a graphic tee, more and more often now that I’m retired. My tees display cats, octopi, various peace signs, and my personal favorite: the Kiss Me, I’m French bulldog tee. I can’t remember where I found it, probably at the Molly Mutt thrift. It makes me feel lighter and not too serious, and expresses my wear-what-you-love style philosophy.

Welcome to Visible Monday. If you want to participate, it’s so easy: just go to the bottom of this post for the how-to. Link back to Not Dead Yet Style if you like – we’re on Easy Does It “rules” now!

I’m dressed for any day’s activities, combining my doggy tee with a new satin-y skirt from Ann Taylor (similar). The skirt has a charming Asian-inspired print and it’s the perfect length for me. It will dress up nicely too, with a white blouse and chic sandals. Today’s Steve Madden boots are rough and tough, to balance the sweetness of the skirt.

And . . . kitty and I blend today.

I added a couple of vintage bangles, both from the Citizen Rosebud shop, to keep the look funky.

With choice of photo filters, I get a subdued color. I like this too.

Now, let’s see what’s in your closet, Visible Women.

  1. weblink I want to start to put all my photos up on my camera, and start a blog or something. Where is a good place to do this like a website or something, do i have to copyright them thanks :).

  2. I’m really liking this laid back comfy style Patti. This looks like it would be a great summer uniform ( in endless versions) . You’d only need to trade up a pair of sneakers or sandals for the boots!

  3. Summery and carefree! So ready for a day of exploring and adventuring! The skirt is lovely and so versatile! I am happy to join your party, Patti, with my sunny outfit.

  4. I love the addition of those chunky boots Patti – a great way to add your personal style! I’ll be on the lookout for more graphic tee’s this year as I love the way they dress down an outfit. Thanks for the link up party!
    Have a fab week!

  5. Such a cute T-shirt Patti! It looks great with the floral print skirt and tough boots. I have a French bulldog sweater which often attracts compliments. I just bought a sweater from eBay with a corgi on 🙂 Thanks for hosting, hope you have a great week!

  8. I’m a big fan of graphic tees too. I especially love your casual but chic take on this with the mini skirt and boots. This is very “Patti” : )

  9. I do like your graphic print tee shirt, it could only make you smile. so good with your pretty skirt and sturdier boots. Many thanks for hosting Visible Monday.

  10. Patti, I always appreciate how you mix styles. I do have a couple of graphic T’s that I wear, but just don’t seem to have your luck in finding ones that I really love. But, your boots are another thing. Every season, I mean to get some and at the end of each season, I still don’t have any. Oh, well. I like your new Ann Taylor, and perfect length for me too.

    Thanks for the link up!
