Fabulous Not-Dead-Yet Fashionistas

In addition to the thrill of being in the Greatest City in the World, I had the pleasure of meeting Jean and Valerie (of The Idiosyncratic Fashionistas) and Shelley of Forest City Fashionista, at the Manhattan Vintage Show. I had just gotten off a plane, and was not equal to their energy or the splendor of their style, but we bonded over the sublime vintage fashions surrounding us.

That’s Jean on the left and Valerie on the right.
The shoes! Shelley’s hot pink Converse andValerie’s vintage spats. Forgive my carry on bag from the flight  : >
Oh my, this embroidered red coat almost came home with me.
There were almost as many irresistible shoes and hats as there were vintage frocks.
Shelley modeling a 1920’s kimono she’d just picked up for under $100. I had to buy a similar one.  Had to.

Shelley’s gone home to Canada. She is a true sweetheart with gusto, and I hope to meet her again. The Idiosyncratic Fashionistas live in NYC, so we’re planning a proper cocktail hour later this week. And I am roaming the city in search of that Once In a Lifetime bargain.

Oh, and today’s our thirteenth wedding anniversary, so we’re taking a sunset cruise tonight. Life is good.

Stay fabulous,
