Ruffles and Tulle, and a Discount for You

The nice folks at eShakti offered to send me this lovely ruffled blouse. I have bought pieces from them before, and been pleased with the designs – some whimsical, some classic – and the quality.

EShakti invited me to try their customizing feature, so I asked for 3/4 length sleeves. I could also have requested a shorter or longer length for my blouse – all customizing is only an additional $7.50. This top has wonderful smocking in the back to make it slim-fitting. I could have worn it outside my skirt just as well, and belted it for a second good look.

I like the look with my tulle skirt and  bronze cowboys.
A cami or tee is needed, because of the low cut.
Cute smocking in the back keeps the fit slim but not tight.

EShakti now offers sizes 0-36W, and custom sizes and styles as well. And they’ve just added a Bridesmaids line, including adorable dresses like this one:

Savannah dress, $75, available in four colors and custom lengths

I’ve got my eye on this skirt too, for Spring/Summer:

Graphic Chevron Skirt, $70, available in five lengths

And good news for Not Dead Yet Style readers: Here is a special discount code, NTDEDYETST, for you to get 20% OFF when you shop at eShakti – valid through Sunday 03/10/13.

Code has to be entered in the ‘Promotional Code’ box. No Minimum Order Value. The discount code is not case sensitive. The code can be used any number of times until the validity period. This code can be combined with any other gift coupon or gift card in the same order.

Happy Thursday to all!

  1. I love the print on the skirt.. I get attracted to retro inspired prints somehow 🙂 A bit envious of you and your boots too, over here I hardly have a chance to wear mine.  They are mostly for travelling abroad.

  2. The blouse is lovely on you! Echoing Amber, hooray for bronze boots. I've yet to try their company. Not sure what's up, but the few times I tried, it told me I had to have a minimum order of like $35 or something.

  3. Patti, thanks for the review about the blouse.  I have been curious about this brand and their products. It looks wonderful on you, but then again, what doesn't look wonderful on you?  I love the surprise with the cowboy boots, definitely my kind of outfit.  I say, that skirt is calling your name.

  4.  Oh rats to that! Sorry you had a bad time, Amber. How frustrating.

  5. Gorgeous outfit, love those bronze boots. Good that you've had a positive customization experience! Mine was a months-long incredibly time-consuming horror of terrible customer service which never yielded a wearable dress and remained unresolved. It's a real antidote to any potential temptation to give this company another try!
