I like to wear wardrobe basics mixed up with statement pieces. That’s been my style for many years, although I now lean harder on the statement pieces. Not dead yet, and all that. This wrap blouse is just the right amount of statement for a casual day-around-town.

I picked up this lantern-sleeve blouse in St. Pete at my favorite consignment shop, Revolve. It’s a brand I don’t know, Gracia. I love the way it creates a nice waistline, and the balloon sleeves (Seinfeld’s poet shirt, anyone?) make it fun to wear. The cargo pants were thrifted here at the Molly Mutt shop, for about $2. I don’t often wear cargo style, but these grabbed me, and the drawstring hem is cool.
I’m wearing my new peep-toe sandals by Sofft. I’m not affiliated with the company, but just this summer I’ve purchased three pair of them, including some great sneaker-oxfords. I think I found my comfortable shoe holy grail! Their prices are reasonable too, especially on sale.

I love the blouse Patti! I have a couple in this style, they’re great to wear with trousers, jeans or a skirt…or even over a dress 🙂 Have a great rest of the week!

I adore this blouse on you, Patti! The whole outfit is just fab – unexpected mix with cargo pants, but it works! You look trendy, casual and elegantly fun!

I hope you are having a great week so far!
You look great. Love the top!
Hi Patti! I love this look – what a great remix! I have a very similar blouse in lilac that I wear for work. BUT, I think I am going to try pairing it with my camo cargo pants…wouldn’t that be fun?
Very cute, what a pretty blouse. Thanks for sharing and hosting. Jacqui Mummabstylish
I love this blouse on you…I need to look for a similar blouse like this!
That top is lovely. You do look wonderful in blue.

Thanks for the kind words, Sherry, and yes! it’s good to beach-ready at all times. Or in your case, ready for a fabulous city walk. xox
Love that top on you!
Sofft shoes really are comfortable, and very durable for the price.
This outfit is simply adorable as you are. The cat statue made me laugh. Love it.
This wrap top makes such a nice statement! I love the puffy sleeves and subtle stripe. I would have never thought to style this with cargo pants, but I really like the relaxed, cool vibe.
LOVE that blue on you with your skin tone and hair and I do love tops with a defining waist or belt to accentuate. I am a fan of cargo pants, those look cool and comfy and i love Sofft shoes, those are so pretty!
Have a wonderful week!
Even though you’re wearing a lot of fabric, it looks cool and comfortable. What a good reminder to hit my consignment shops, soon. P.S. Love the ancient Greece filter!
Love the blouse! The sleeves are gorgeous and the colour is great on you! xxx
I love that top! I’m featuring a tie front blouse on my blog today as well. They are so flattering on everyone! Such a pretty color and fun sleeves too.
Patti I love that blouse! What a find. I need to check out that brand of shoes, I’m always on the hunt for comfortable and stylish shoes that are reasonably priced.
I’m loving your blouse and its fabulous sleeves and shape! and I think that you rock in your cargo pants too!. Glad that you found the comfy&cool shoes which make your feet happy!, holy grail indeed! I love those sneakers you’ve been wearing and your sandals are also cute (and comfy!)
Marvelous blouse! Love the sleeves and those pants are cool! Have a happy week!
I like the fluffy sleeves, perfect for semi-cool weather!
Ah, comfortable shoes that also look great, that is tough to find. No wonder you bought several pairs.
I had a blouse similar to yours, but I just couldn’t make it work. Somehow it just didn’t fit right and the sash kept riding up, drove me crazy. Your blouse looks fab though. Makes me think I need to add a few statement pieces to my wardrobe, too.
What a beautiful blouse!! I love the puff sleeves and the pinched in waist Patti! I can see it with a floaty long length skirt as well. xx
Definitely a statement blouse and I love the colour and style! I must say I’m a bit surprised you can wear long pants in Florida in the summer!
What a fun look, Patti! I love the floofiness of the blouse with the fun pants! You look marvelous! Thank you so much for hosting!
I love those cargo pants!!
That’s a great statement blouse, Patti! I have a similar blouse that I’ll have to wear again!

That’s a beautiful blue top, Patti. I love your style!
Gorgeous blouse – flattering and fun.
The blouse is gorgeous Patti, it has such strong sense of style and could be worn in so many combos and always looks super stylish
Nice fresh puff shirt cotton feel to this—loving your comfy shoe holy grail.
You find the best thrift store treasures!!
I always think a statement blouse makes getting dressed so much easier. Then you don’t have to add anything else!!
I love that you’ve found some stylish yet comfy shoes—that’s the best thing ever!!
Patti, fabulous outfit and you look marvelous. The detail of the sleeves is fun but with the calming blue color, the overall look of the top is modern and not too flashy. Don’t you find that the choice of knotting the wrap around ties either in front or back seems to double your styling options? Thanks for sharing this delightful ensemble and for your creative inspirations. I hope that you’re having a wonderful weekend.
I pretty much love chambray anything but your blouse is a style I’ve been thinking about making for myself-I even have the pattern and do have the fabric picked out. I know Soffts are super comfortable. I think I may actually have a pair somewhere back in my closet! We’re on the same page with this one-I love it.
