A Simple Skirt As The Core Of My Summer Wardrobe

I like wearing cotton or linen skirts all Florida summer. A couple of skirts, and some loose linen trousers and I am set for the bottom half. Then I add solid tanks on top, or blouses and shirts with some personality. Earrings, sandals, lipstick, done.

I recently bought two ivory cotton skirts (similar) via eBay, one pleated and one tiered in true Boho style. You’ll see them soon on my outfit posts. Total cost for both was about $40.

Here are some creative ways I imagine styling my skirts (although a simple cotton tank will do service most days). For going to the pub with Sandy, for movies, singing lessons and lunch with friends, this is what I’d like to wear:
