Welcome to Visible Monday #142! If you want to participate, it’s so easy: just go to the bottom of this post for the how-to. Please be kind and leave a link to Not Dead Yet Style in your post.
I wore this outfit a couple of weeks ago, when the daytime temperatures were in the 80’s. Not a day for serious layering, but I did manage a dress-over skirt. This is one of my favorite Karina dresses, a Gala in a fabulous paisley print. Underneath is an olive silk skirt from Talbot’s (similar) and a teal camisole from Adea.
I love the way the colors flow together, including the accents: a bright emerald bangle (similar) and blue suede shoes (similar). For a neutrals kind of woman, this is a bold leap, and it works!

I love how the outfit is a blue story- the shoes set the tone. Very cute.
I LOVE THE DRESS! So pretty
Missed Visible Monday again. Perhaps I should change my publishing day to Monday instead of Sunday. On the other hand… I have to work on Monday AND fitness class in the evening… Hmm…. Have to think this one over carefully.
As for your outfit… I had to laugh when you said it was a bold leap for you. As to me it is nice outfit, but I would not call it bold.

Beautiful colors, and so lovely on you! Thanks for hosting the linkup.
Love love Love what you've done here! I never would've thought to layer a dress over a skirt. Just fabulous and a bit quirky. Love it!
How gorgeous! And these colours suit you so well. You could also wear your newly adjusted bracelet with its new stone. As a colour person, this is right up my alley, with the lovely paisley pattern. Very brave for you to adapt to colours! Using all one colour or analogous colours in an outfit is a good way to ease into the colour world π
I have shared a post about my thrifted scarves, and wearing a lovely blue silk shirt that would go well with your blue shoes!
