I found this cool Badass Blogger tee at Society 6, through my friend and fellow 0ver-40 blogger, Suzanne Carillo. I love wearing it because I am really such a pussycat. I cry at all the movies, I listen to everyone’s troubles, I kiss my cat on the lips. But I am strong too, I can hold my own, and I can be whiskey in a teacup.

The pinstriped zipper skirt (similar) was thrifted in NYC and I love the shape. It’s fun to wear, although sometimes the zippers spontaneously unzip, leading to malfunctions. Must have a sense of humor to be a badass stylista. I added a favorite old thrifted cuff (sim) and questionable white sandals (sim). I don’t know if they have a certain hip je ne sais quoi, or a retirement home vibe. It was too late to re-shoot, so I am embracing them.
The guidelines to participate in the Visible Monday Link-Up are so simple:
- Whoever wants to can join in! Just compose a post that includes any outfit, accessory, piece of jewelry, hairstyle, cosmetic or other adornment that makes you feel more confident, alive and visible that day.

Great Blog! Love the quote! My favorite are the black and white scarves!
Love that Tee-shirt, I told Suzanne we all needed to have and wear one last summer while shopping together in Vancouver. Can you just imagine all the looks we would have got? Maybe next meet-up? You did a fantastic job of styling this Tee!
Patti, this is my absolute fave outfit from you to date!!! I love the word, Badass. It conveys so much in two mere syllables. Tough and tender, definitely. Ladylike with balls, without a doubt. I love you in it, I love that skirt you’ve paired with it. I might even attempt making myself one!! Thank you so much for always being so honest and true to yourself xoxo
Patti, I think with a skirt like that you can carry of those granny shoes and still be uber cool! Well, as long as the zipper doesn’t come undone to reveal granny’s undies too, haha x Thanks for the link up party once again.
Those are Cool Sandals!, and love your skirt, that asymetric shape is another cool detail, and you rock it with lots of attitude!
Only a badass blogger like you would wear really cool sandals and think they’re old lady sandals!
I love your Badass tee! Styling it with a pinstripe skirt is fun and edgy!
So stylish as always!
Fun skirt, and I think your sandals work with this outfit. I am a lot like you, Patti, I think if I ever decide to wear a naughty language T-short, I will probably cover it with a pretty scarf. 🙂
Rock on with your badass self, Patti! You know I love the badassery in this! Love that funky skirt too! Thank you so much for hosting “VisMon” – me and the Vizz-meister will be right there!
You are rockin’ the badass vibe in that tee, Patti but especially in the skirt – wow, I love it! The shape, the zip – fantastic! And I love the sandals too! The diagonal break in them fits the lines of the skirt.
A fun look and I love your skirt Patti! Pinstripes and zipper is so unique! What a great find!
Thanks for hosting Visible Monday!
Thanks for the link up, Patti…and for the reminder!
Patti you are badass! Cute retro looking tee, and it is about confidence no matter what one wears, love the sandals with this look!
Enjoy your week!
Such a badass style Patti you are really rockin it. It think this is one of my favorites of all time: the tee, the skirt, the sandals…I would totally want to steal that look 😉 Have a great day and thanks for hosting! Sabina
You are one sassy cat, Patti. Hope you’re wearing some hot pants under that zip skirt. You can always doodle on those sandals if they aren’t cool enough for you. I say, if they’re comfy, they’re cool.
Such a fun tee! I need to get a blogger tee myself!
Fizz and Frosting
So fun to see you wearing the tee again : ) I can see I need to make you one that says Whisky in a Tea Cup.
oh yes please! xo
That tee shirt is brilliant – Suzanne is a genius! Love the shape of the skirt, too! x
Amazing graphic tee! Now I want one, too. 🙂 Love that you styled it with this fabulous skirt – such fantastic details.

The zipper detail really adds something special to that skirt. Everything is in the details! Haha Thanks for the link-up!
LOVE your Badass Blogger Tee! Very very cool Patti! Thank you for the link up.
You are badass Patti and that skirt proves it! The zipper detail is fierce!
Badass blogger indeed, wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
Love your skirt and vakue your friendship.
Happy Monday once more, dear Patti
Badass Blogger – Suzanne makes the BEST T-shirts ever! I have one of hers that says Dressed to Piss You Off. LOVE it. You look great in your T, Patti. I don’t see old lady shoes here. I see stylish active-wear sandals for a woman running about town. I think the unzipping skirt matches the ‘tude in your T. Thanks for hosting!
I love the skirt. Actually, I want it! It would be perfect for Argentine Tango. Now to you. I think it became sort of your style to have these kind of shoes. I just have to see the photo of your shoes and I now it’s a post of yours. I mean gal that’s something! Isn’t that what we want? Signature style that is so you, recognizable and distinguishes your from every one else? Everyone would say it is Nicole if you would wear this with an 4.5 inch strappy sandal. LOL.
Great tee and I love the skirt paired with it!
Thank you for hosting and hope you are having a fab week!
Hope to see you Thursday for TBT Fashion link up.
Patti, this tee would have been a BIG hit at the Bloggers at Midlife Conference this weekend.
Fun tshirt and cool skirt! Wonderful look, Patti!

I agree – confidence and her smile are the two best things a woman can wear. That graphic tee totally suits you Patti and the asymmetric skirt is badass!
Love that tee!!! and the way you paired with the skirt!! Thanks for hosting.
Patti, I love this tee on you and paired with the zipper skirt – fabulously confident! I have the long skirt you shared from Dillards in my shopping cart! LOVE!
Oh, I love that shirt!
Great tshirt! And it goes great with your skirt! 🙂

Well that t-shirt definitely makes a fabulous statement…now I just need it in pink!!!
And I realize it’s all about the message on the shirt, but that skirt is so wonderful too—the texture, the zipper and that asymmetrical hemline!!!
Thanks so much for hosting this every week!! jodie
What a great look! And I think the shoes are hip, not old-lady!
Great tee! And I love the unique skirt! I think the shoes totally work with it!
Thanks for the link up!
Adore you and your blog, you badass you!
I love the “mix up”, Patti. I’m always a bit confused about the shoe issue. I guess what I used to think of as old lady shoes…are indeed pretty cool these days. I’ve got a pair or two and will embrace them as being chic. 🙂
I’m sentimental too, but get me behind the wheel of my car? SO BadAss. Especially when commuting. “What?!? What are you doing you idiot!!!!!!” [makes disrespectful hand gestures that are only visible to self] [makes juvenile sneering face] [shakes head emphatically] You get the idea. Now you’ll never want to ride shotgun!
all is understood and forgiven – you are in southern California : >
Patti I saw this tee on Suzanne recently – LOVE seeing it on you!! It’s such an awesome t-shirt because it’s so true, you ARE a badass blogger! 😉 Looks great with that skirt too, it’s such an edgy, unusual style.
