Just a simple office outfit today, made more interesting with an obi from Megan Mae (two men’s ties – isn’t it funky?) The cotton shirt (similar) was thrifted and the denim pencil skirt (similar) is from Old Navy, worn at least a dozen times so far.
I really enjoy these ankle strap sandals (similar), from a company that is no more, Colour of Cocktails. They seem to work with most any summer look, and they are so comfortable.
But I really just wanted to show you our new wall decal, purchased via Etsy from 3rdAveShore. It captures our feelings perfectly, and sits beneath a primitive island scene, an authentic Hawaiian Alaia surfboard that Sandy hand-made, and Dad’s guitar. A wall of happiness.

This is my kind of outfit! Love it. And that obi is marvellous. Can I make it myself you think? If I find some nice ties in my husband's closet. He doesn't wear them anyway. I have to say, she did carefully select the colours and patterns to go together.
I will check out her website.

Great wall decal. Be Happy!
The outfit is quintessential Patti – chic and simple with a flash of colour and flair – and the wall is beautiful. Yes, you are lucky to live by the sea, it's my dream! xxx
that obi belt makes all the difference with this outfit! Great styling.
Great post on many levels. I like the look a lot – it would suit my office style. The wall decal……love it as we are moving to a beachside village in two weeks.
Awwh … yes, yes you are! Excellent sentiment!
Very pretty outfit, as well … love your sandal-belt print combo. Really simply and effectively executed.
Love those sandals, Patti! Too bad the company that made them doesn´t exist anymore and hey, the obi belt from two ties is so clever! 🙂

Dreaming of going to that Hawaiian place on your wall, Patti… I live in the mountains which are beautiful but I love the sea!
Your look is gorgeous too!

What a fun wall! I need to check out that Etsy store. We are just finishing my husband's office and I'd like an expression on the wall.
Those sandals are hot with the red insoles.
