Visible Monday #99: Dotty, but Not Tipsy!

Welcome to Visible Monday #99! If you want to participate, it’s so easy: just go to the bottom of this post for the easy how-to.

These pics are from pre-NYC trip, because trip pictures, while often Visible, can be rather surprising! (see: slightly tipsy on Architectural Cruise). I’m wearing a thrifted ($6-ish) dotted dress and thrifted ($4) knit vest for a neutral but spirited work look.

The dress is short for work, so I wore tights and my Sofft booties.
I’m wearing my fab brooch from Bella’s Etsy shop as a pendant.

Are dots still in style? I’m loving this dress regardless, because it’s loose, light, surprisingly versatile, and def. Visible. ☺

Now, let’s see what you’re wearing, Visible Women!!

The guidelines to participate in the Visible Monday Link-Up are so simple!

  1. Whoever wants to can join in! Just compose a post that includes any outfit, accessory, piece of jewelry, hairstyle, cosmetic or other adornment that makes you feel more confident, alive and visible that day.
  2. Include a link to Not Dead Yet Style somewhere in your post.
  3. Go to the bottom of this post and click on this cute little link:

In the “Next Step”, you crop the pic (easy tool) you want to display, and you’re done!

Oh hey! Not Dead Yet Style has a Facebook page now! Please check it out when you have a moment: Facebook Page.

  1. Absolutely LOVE this outfit! And, YOU look fabulous, not just your clothes!

  2. OK, call me grouchy. Some of you went ahead and did it, even after my snarky comment. Three posts up there is 2x too many IMHO.

  3. I missed Visible Monday this week as was on my hols, but I will join in next week as usual!

Love this dotty dress, and the vest/cardigan looks great with it, really gives it a good 'workwear' edge, if that makes sense?…

  4. Yes, you are definitely dotty – but in a wholesome way…
Fabulous dots. What a great swingy, fun work outfit, Patti. Remember when Lady Di was wearing dots and you couldn't come out of a store without being covered in them? I still have a few pieces in my closet.

  5. That is a great dress, Patti! I like how you paired it with your accessories and the vest. Don't you just love black and white together?

  6. Dots with the knit vest. Fabulous! I must say that last week without Visible Monday totally threw me off kilter. What would I do without your weekly gathering? Thank you again for your creation. Welcome back.

  7. You look lovely, as always, Patti! Seems I am always late to the party lately, sorry! However, I do seem to have managed to hit on a pink theme, like many of the participants.

  8. Whatever you wear is always in style, because you are the best at chic, sexy classy! I barely made it to the party, but so happy to see everyone!

  9. Number 99!!!! What a trooper you are! Congratulations. I don't think that hemline is too short for you. You have fabulous pins – get them out! Thanks so much for hosting again and hope you have a great lead up week to week 100!

  10. Well, I just read on a recent Etsy blog that polka dots are a downright hot trend for the season!

And thanks again for hosting Visible Monday! πŸ™‚

  34. I don't normally care for dots much…but this pattern is cute! I like how close the dots are together and are they different sized dots or are my eyes playing tricks on me?
You look great in black and white – cool and classic!

  35. Welcome back! Dots are always in, a total classic and I just LOVE your dress with the masculine lines of the vest.

  36. You MAKE dots in style! I love the red necklace for the pop of color.

  37. I'm all over navy lately…maybe it's the new black! I think the dots are adorable (and always "in"), plus the vest makes your outfit even better. Navy looks great on us blondies and goes with so many colors…you can't go wrong!

  38. Yes, dots are still in style…and you wear them well, Patti! I bet NYC was a blast! Have a great week!

  39. Not only are polka dots still in style, they are my weakness and you wear them so well! There's something timeless about a polka-dot dress. They're such a great investment piece and, as usual, you look girly and chic in yours.
I missed you last week πŸ˜‰
