It’s time for a floral explosion, as everything is blooming, colorful and cheery. I do still wear my neutrals in summer, but today I’m celebrating the new season with florals on top and bottom.

Welcome to Visible Monday. If you want to participate, it’s so easy: just go to the bottom of this post for the how-to. Link back to Not Dead Yet Style if you like – we’re on Easy Does It “rules” now!

This floral swoosh-y skirt from Modcloth (sim) has become a favorite. It’s light and fun to wear with simple tees and tanks, and with print-mixing floral tops (sim). The extra-warm weather – it’s Florida – makes it easy to wear bare sandals, like these ankle-straps (sim). Not much extra adornment is needed, and I added only an emerald thrifted cuff (sim) and lovely add-on hair by Paula Young. The extra hair is not too hot, as many suspect – it has a very lightweight mesh cap and feels about the same as a sun hat.

The hair is by Paula Young, the Paige. It’s very lightweight and easy to wear. This is my first wear this season of these mostly-bare sandals. Love the faux-snake print.

Now, let’s see what’s in your closet, Visible Women.

The guidelines to participate in the Visible Monday Link-Up are so simple:

    1. Whoever wants to can join in! Just compose a post that includes any outfit, accessory, piece of jewelry, hairstyle, cosmetic or other adornment that makes you feel more confident, alive and visible that day.
    2. Go to the bottom of this post and click on the InLinkz button “Add Your Link”. It should open a new page.

  1. I love the wild colourful mash-up of an outfit you’re wearing, Patti! Even ceramic kitty cat’s getting in on the action! xxx

  2. Patti, this double floral is brilliant! I actually just helped style a woman the other day and we tried a double floral. The pattern mix was adorable, but the wide leg soft shorts were just unflattering on her. But I was so happy that she was open to the double floral idea. You are rocking this wonderful look for sure!

  3. Nice mixing. Love those two floral prints together. Very pretty and feminine. And that outfit looks really comfy and cool to wear in that Florida heat.

  4. I’m in florals too lately, something about them in summer that sucks me in more than in spring! Those are pretty sandals x

  5. These patterns go great together! Great outfit, and I love your happy, strappy sandals with the neon pink poking out there. Thanks for the linkup again, Patti.

  6. I love the mix of prints in your outfit and the bright colors. You look awesome! The shoes are a perfect pairing. I like them despite they have no heel. So chic.

  7. Mixing patterns is such a great way to spice up an outfit but we don’t usually see two florals. You’ve shown how well it can be done to achieve a fresh and modern look. Thanks for sharing your secrets and for helping us all stay visible.

  8. I would (and want) to wear this entire ensemble, it fits my summer dresses category to a T. Love the easy breezy flow of the skirt and the fun way you paired it with that shirt.

  9. Those sandals are gorgeous! Great idea to combine floral and snake print! Have a great week Patti!

  10. I love a good floral print clash… on someone else! I always admire it. I don’t wear much flowery stuff myself, but I do love it on others. Your mix here is particularly pretty, Patti! xx
