What I Wore: The Brooklyn Bridge

The Brooklyn Bridge is an amazing piece of architecture. It opened for business in May 1883, when President Chester Arthur crossed it. It’s considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Industrial World. And it can’t take a bad picture, that’s how photogenic it is. It’s a supermodel!

My outfit’s plain today: A thrifted knit dress and underlying cobalt tank. I am wearing the vintage bracelet Sandy bought for my birthday, in collusion with the wonderful Bella.

The dancing shoes are thrifted too.

I wrapped myself in a Brooklyn Bridge scarf, also a birthday gift, from my baby sister Kristie. She knows how I love NYC!

Thanks sister! We should walk the bridge together sometime.

Have a fun-filled weekend, and stay fabulous,

Visible Monday is on its “off” week this week, so we can recharge, refresh, and work on our tans (gasp!). ☺  We’ll be back on Monday, June 16th (actually, the Sunday evening before)!

  3. I've got 2 black shirt dresses. One is more easy, the other is tight. I love them both.
But the first is more changeable.

  4. This dress is great, it shows off your beautiful figure. Nice with the cobalt. And as you kept it simple, it is a stage for that gorgeous bracelet.
