Visible Monday #157: Welcome Back! And An Octopus

Welcome to Visible Monday #157! If you want to participate, it’s so
easy: just go to the bottom of this post for the how-to. Please be kind
and leave a link to Not Dead Yet Style in your post.

I’ve missed you all. Welcome back to one of the oldest (in the good way) style link-ups in the blogoverse. And, we are going back to every-week link-ups – yes, now every Monday will be a Visible Monday, hooray!

I chose a simple, chic chocolate sheath to start the party. It’s linen, and body-conscious without being snug. I picked it up from the fabulous Sue, at the Vancouver Blogger Clothing Swap.

The last time I featured this dress (similar), you suggested a belt to define the silhouette. This leather belt (sim) was thrifted over ten years ago, but still looks cool. Nude wedge sandals (sim) are the perfect height for a knee-length dress. And the octopus! Isn’t she grand? She’s a gift from the lovely Sheila, and she (the octopus, but maybe Sheila?) sends me calm, mysterious vibes when I wear her.

Gotta love the look of silver hair, although I have a ways to go in real life.

Now, show us what you’re wearing, Visible Women!!

The guidelines to participate in the Visible Monday Link-Up are so simple!

  1. Whoever wants to can join in! Just compose a post that includes any outfit, accessory, piece of jewelry, hairstyle, cosmetic or other adornment that makes you feel more confident, alive and visible that day.
  2. Include a link to Not Dead Yet Style somewhere in your post. Please leave a comment, too, so we know you had a good time.
  3. Go to the bottom of this post and click on the InLinkz button “Add Your Link”. It should open a new page.
  4. In the “Next Step”, you crop the pic (easy tool) you want to display, and you’re done!

Oh hey! Not Dead Yet Style has a Facebook page! Please check it out when you have a moment: Facebook Page.
