Do you ever play with your hairstyle? One of the easiest way to change up your look, painlessly and without commitment, is with hair you wear: extension, bangs, braids, or a full-on wig like I’m wearing here today.
Welcome to Visible Monday. If you want to participate, it’s so easy: just go to the bottom of this post for the how-to. Please be kind and leave a link to Not Dead Yet Style in your post. |
The outfit is pretty simple – loose-cut black trousers by AllSaints (thrifted, similar) and a sheer floral top (sim) over a black camisole. I broke out my blue suede sandals (sim) for the first time this year; they are at least six years old.
I own several wigs, and this is a new one by Gabor (like this one, in Sugared Smoke). I wanted to experiment with the all-silver look, and I do like it. I think I’ll always prefer my curls, but who among us hasn’t wanted to change our hairstyle from time to time? I am currently on the hunt for silver curly hair extensions that clip in – these are hard to find so if you’re in the know, drop me a line.
Now, let’s see what’s in your closet, Visible Women.
The guidelines to participate in the Visible Monday Link-Up are so simple:
- Whoever wants to can join in! Just compose a post that includes any outfit, accessory, piece of jewelry, hairstyle, cosmetic or other adornment that makes you feel more confident, alive and visible that day.
- Include a link to Not Dead Yet Style somewhere in your post.
- Go to the bottom of this post and click on the InLinkz button “Add Your Link”. It should open a new page.
- In the “Next Step”, you crop the pic (easy tool) you want to display, and you’re done!
Oh hey! Not Dead Yet Style is on Instagram! Please check it out when you have a moment: Instagram.

I love this blog so much! I have been using Real Human Hair Wigs For Women since sooo long now and I have never being disappointing with how they turn out because these Hair Wigs are pretty natural looking and especially the Wavy Wigs are the best because of how natural looking they are!
You look amazing. I am pretty much pleased with your good work. Keep blogging.
It is a very informative blog I really appreciate this great information. visit this link: https://www.tradekey.com/ehimp/

very cute, have a try
This wig looks so cute, it is not so long or so short, light, bright and cheap, a good choice for beginners, I plan to buy a new one now!

You look super amazing. I ordered a lace front wig from https://www.bestwigoutlet.com/category/wigs/lace-front/ as that is what my hairstylist friend recommended. I love the wig but I had a hard time making it look right. You just look so cute! Did you style it yourself? I eventually caved with frustration and need her help styling mine (I didn’t want to bother her)
The wig is super cute on you! I’ve always wanted to try wearing a long, curly wig sometime. The closest I’ve got to that is the long mauve wig I wore as a witch on Halloween 😉
I think your new hair do is fabulous, it really suits you
You look great with shorter hair Patti! I recently won some clip in pony tails which I’m looking forward to trying. I love your top, the colour really suits you 🙂

Patti, love the wig! You look great in straight on curly hair. Did it take time to adjust? Love the idea of trying new things… and red sheer blouse is so pretty with those favorite blue sandals. Have a great week!

I agree wigs can be fun. I had a wig that I loved which was red when I was blond and it is probably the main reason I decided to take the plunge to go red.
Although I love the sleekness of this on you I must say I’m partial to your curls. Probably because I don’t have them : )

I find wigs terribly itchy and hot, so I never wear one. I am surprised you wear one in that hot Florida weather. Especially because you have such beautiful hair yourself.
As for extensions and such.. Nah.. not in my thin hair.

What a different look! Looks great. I love how wigs can change your look in an instant.

You look great! The wig has a fun style & the color looks good, too! It’s been way too long that I’ve played with my hair…
Thanks for the link up & have a wonderful week!

What a great hair style on you! Love, love it.
Love that hairstyle on you and the blouse. Happy Monday!!
Funny, I’ve been thinking about getting a few of those clip-in extensions in bright colors to go in my hair lately. I’ve got a can of spray-in wash out hair paint sitting on may dresser as we speak, but haven’t tried it yet. I guess great minds think alike! This is a really cute style on you!
Love the messy add-on hair! I really like the sleeveless/muscle tee tops!!
This wig looks great on you! Looks incredibly real, love love the layers and the idea of switching it up.

I love the wig! That style is so fun and chic!
So in love with your new hair style, wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Much love dear Patti
What a fabulous and fun new look, Patti! You look quite the 1960s siren! xxx
What fun! I like the look. I have a pink wig, I might get it out again for Spring!
I’ve never tried a wig or hair extension, but I think it’s cool that you experiment with your hairstyle, Patti! I notice that some models do it too, it’s a quick and unexpected way to change a look dramatically! I like your bright red top, and the way it matches your groovy Florida cat. 🙂 Thank you for the link-up!
that hairstyle is a fabulous look on you (although I miss the curls). the one thing about us that the easiest to change is our hair and you’ve tapped into a whole other world of options with wigs and extensions. you’ll notice that I too have tried a new do (and more changes are coming). thank you for sharing this styling inspiration and for hosting.
Your wig looks so natural, I thought you had a new hairdo.
Pretty little blouse. I can’t wait to wear sandals!
Thanks for hosting!

That wig really suits you, and I really love that pretty top! 🙂
Your hair is somewhere between Laura Dern and Val/ Muse Fondue. Cute!
I got a wig pre-cancer treatments (as one does) and got a brunette 20’s bob-like style. Man, that thing was hot and itchy. Good for costume parties though. Hmmmm, I wonder where I put that…
Thanks for hosting!
That hair is totally adorable on you! Gee, I need to get a couple of wigs and change it up! Thanks for the inspiration!

I have a couple of wigs too, Patti!! And I love them. It’s my husband who’s not as enthralled—so I’ve gotten out of the habit!
But they are so easy…and look so good. That’s why I kept wearing mine!
And if you find those extensions–let me know too, kay?

That wig looks fantastic. I wouldn’t have recognized you at a glance without your curls. I agree – it’s fun to mix it up. I have a few really bold pink and blue ones too. I’d like a few for everyday style as well. Great post. If I see something clip-in, I’ll let you know. Thanks for the link-up!!
The wig looks good on you, and the shag cut is a great style. But doesn’t the wig get awfully hot?
too hot for a full Florida day outdoors – but great for going out to dinner or a movie, or a bit of shopping. xo
I’ve thought about a wig once in a while. My daughter has a couple and loves them. I was going to get one a couple of years ago when I was considering letting my hair go natural. Well, I just did it and never got the wig and fortunately, I am pretty happy with the results. But, will have to admit, I will still like to have at least one wig….someday….
I love the idea of trying new hair via a wig. I always wanted to have red hair for a week and see what it is like! I’ve just never seen a wig that looked convincing on me, but I’ll keep looking! Yours looks fab; love you in red too. xx
The wig is fun, Patti! The style really suits you. It is fun to play with different things. Thanks for the link up and have a wonderful week.
