Yes there will be shopping, dining, cocktails, a clothing swap, and lots of squealing. I think Sylvia will win the award for farthest distance traveled (she lives in Singapore) but I will be no slouch at 2,500+ air miles. Note to self: pack lots of books.

And speaking of packing – what to wear to a party with 20 or more super-fashionable women? Well, there is the clothing swap in case I pull up short. But I’ll be sticking to my favorite neutral pieces, accented with scarves, necklaces, a pretty print coat, and crazy hair. It’s not a contest, we all just want to look and feel terrific.
