Not too long ago in fashion history, a graphic tee was reserved for toddlers, rockers, or company picnics. No “lady” would wear one as daywear, unless attending a baseball game. I’m thankful times have moved on, because I love, love a graphic tee. I have a nice collection: cats, dogs, rockers, sassy slogans, and octopi.
You can be sure the awesome women of Visible Monday also know how to rock a graphic tee, in our weekly linkup. I wore one myself, a Debbie Harry tribute tee. I love the variety and creativity of the Vis Monday over-40 fashionistas. Among them:
Jennie of Pocket Full Of Polka Dots celebrates the year of her birth (I think that was the year of my first kiss) with her cool tee from Amazon. She creates a cool, casual look with a personal touch. Great shades and sneakers, too.
Vale of Fashion And Cookies takes an adorable cat-graphic tee (similar) to a dressier level by adding a flouncy skirt and upscale accessories. She looks confident and ready for a date or a coffee in downtown’s coolest shop.
Nicole of High Latitude Style is a scientist and wears a reassuring message: “Let the meteorologist take care of it.” Love this graphic tee with a smart jacket, skirt, and bright purse. And thanks, Nicole, for sending us no big storms on the East Coast (yet) this year.
Debbie of Fashion Fairy Dust mixes an office style blazer with white jeans and a graphic tee celebrating “Friends”. Debbie creates wonderful mixes of business and casual, and her hair is the most delightful accessory.
Reminder: Visible Monday starts Sunday around 5PM. You are invited to share your favorite outfit, accessory, hairstyle or lipstick of the week – anything that made you feel Visible. Be there for the best blogger party and the finest style on the webz!

Your blog has inspired me to wear Graphic T shirt as it says it goes with any age, all I can say is Indeed True! You don’t need a particular age to wear to Graphic Tees, its fit for any age group
You’ve convinced me! I got a cool Frida Kahlo tee with embroidered flowers that I’ve worn with bright ankle pants and a blazer and gotten tons of compliments. Also: “The Notorious RBG” tee in honor of our illustrious Supreme Court justice. I wear that one with leather.
I love these tees because they’re so different. Thank goodness we’re past having only “event” shirts to wear. Brenda
Agree 100%! xo
I am currently making it my mission to find a Blondie tee! I’d also like to find a Go-Go’s tee too!
Love the Go-Go’s! xox
Everyone is so cute!!!
Aren’t they?! xox
I own several graphic tees but I rarely wear them out in public. Seeing your recent post with Blondie and seeing how these ladies fashion their tees, I’ve decided that’s got to change. You all look so cool!
