We’re off on our cruise today! We don’t celebrate Christmas much, and we enjoy a getaway while the stores are jammed and that corny music is playing everywhere. (I refer to the “Sleigh Ride” type tunes, not Springsteen or Handel.)
It’s a heat wave in Central Florida as we head for the ship, with a high today of 80 degrees. I chose a sleeveless plaid blouse by Lauren Ralph Lauren (similar), and easy knit trousers (similar). In my suitcase are cotton skirts, tees, a swimsuit, and a couple of simple shift dresses.

I’ll be taking a few days off from the internet, with a pile of books, some pricey pink cocktails, a few quarters for the gambling machines, and maybe a massage. I know, it’s a hard knock life!
