There are so many good links I come across every day. The kind that honor our womanhood and lift us up as equals in the world. And recognize that we can be powerful, opinionated, and still love all things fashion/beauty/style. And have a robust sense of humor.
Here are just a few recent reads that I wanted to share with you:
- How much plastic surgery would an already-beautiful model need to look like Barbie? Here you go.
- Have you been following Pam’s no-cost secrets to looking younger and more beautiful? Sister has the keys, and she shares them.
- Tish has been featuring real-life women over 40 (you will recognize a lot of them) in her series on Faces Through the Ages. I am loving every minute of this.
- Terri posted an amazing, blood-pressure-raising, must-see movie trailer about how women are (mis)represented in the media. I have got to find that film.
- Serene posted the inspirational speech that Steve Jobs gave at Stanford in 2005. She pulled this quote: “If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?”
- An older post, but worth re-visiting: this ode to empowerment through self portrait by the Citizen Rosebud. She writes, “I know who I am, and what I want to be.”
- And a picture of beautiful Judith, in menswear with special meaning:

Hello Patti, how lovely to meet you. Great choices, didn't Judith look wonderful in Nelson's attire? Bella is a genius with words. x

Thanks so much for the mention, Patti!! You rock! There are so many inspirational blogs and I also particularly love that picture of Judith. I feel like I know Nelson through Judith and this is a powerful remembrance and tribute!
