What I Wore: Summer Uniform Version #2

I wrote a couple of weeks ago about my Off-Duty Summer Uniform: tank top, linen trousers, sandals and some minimal jewelry. You were so positive in your feedback, thank you!

Summer Off-Duty Uniform, Version #1

Here’s another version, following the same formula. This time, I wore an olive cotton tank top (showing arms – it’s 90+ degrees for the next month). The tank is from JCPenney and the Zara linen pants were thrifted in NYC for a few dollars. I just picked up the great vintage necklace at Molly Mutt last week, when jewelry was half-price — $2 for this cutie.

Gorgeous vintage bracelet from Bella’s Etsy shop. Bernardo platform sandals are old, purchased on eBay.
My pose looks like a vintage Sears Catalog, “A woman on the go.”

Have a stylish day and stay fabulous,

  1. I love the first look so hard. I wish I could so wear that everyday. (actually I probably could, but finding striped pants is impossible!)

  2. Love your hair pulled back; very sophisticated. Your summer looks are easy and breezy.

  3. I almost didn't recognize you in the first photo. I like your hair worn back as a change, especially with those boxy sunglasses. Where's your guitar?

  4. Love it! I'm wearing your summer uniform today instead of mine ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thrifted black linen pants, cobalt blue cotton tank top. Black birkenstocks (no meetings today and it's 90 & humid here as well!)

  5. Always wear your hair back!!!!! Your face, I see now, is beautiful!

  6. They're both good looks on you, and who cares about going sleeveless? I love the feel of air on my skin, so people just have to put up with my wrinkles and slack skin.

  7. You have fabulous summer style. I love both of these looks. And I'm glad you feel ok showing your (wonderful) arms. I live in AZ and couldn't imagine being all covered up in the summer. I also may need a pair of those wedges….:)

  8. There's nothing wrong with showing your arms! Yours look quite nice and I think comfort should dictate what you wear. I wish women of a certain age didn't feel so self-conscious about showing arms and legs. We are no longer 25 and perhaps not perfect, but that's actually ok. No need to hide! Also love your hair back like that. It's very chic and sophisticated looking in the summer heat.

  9. You've got such a gorgeous bod and this style suits you down to a tee (or should I say a vest?) xxx

  10. You look gorgeous, Patti! You have lovely arms, so lithe and long.

  11. Patti … loving both looks!! These are great summer looks – they look fresh, relaxed and stylish… wishing you a great week, hugs, Celia M. (HHL)

  12. You look summer fresh and pretty in both looks, Patti! I agree with une femme, the olive looks great on you!

  13. Well, you ARE a woman on the go, Patti!
This is such a good look on you – casual, chic, classy and cool – all the Cs! Love that tasseled necklace, what a great find.
PS. You have fabulous arms! xxx
