What I Wore: Old Hippie Woman Is Not Dead Yet

I was a wanna-be hippie in the 1960’s – just a couple of years too young to go to Woodstock, although I did wear the grooves out of my Crosby, Stills, and Nash albums. I wore long floral maxis and off the shoulder peasant tops, and carried a fringe bag, though, so I was almost there.

Now that I am am 60 I wear what I love, regardless of decade. And I still love this 70’s cotton wrap skirt (similar). I bought it on eBay about 10 years ago. The off-the shoulder blouses no longer do me any favors, but I still like a fitted tank (not dead yet) (sim) and some groovy platform sandals (sim).

Sunglasses are a necessity along with a cotton sunhat (sim), bought at Lowe’s Hardware store. Need love beads.
The aging hippie is doing alright and still rocking to Neil Young.
