What I Wore: I Took Your Fine Advice!

This isn’t the exact same outfit that you helped me with (that one’s here), but it’s similar. It’s mostly light colors, has a spring-y feel about it and I am determined to winterize it! In my wilting defense, it’s 78 degrees here today.

Many of you fashionistas advised me to “ground” the outfit with darker hose and shoes/boots, and I agree. So that’s what I did here, and I like the look. I think next time I’ll add a dark leather belt to further ground the whole ensemble.

Skirt: Odille; Sweater: Urban Outfitters; Shoes: Clarks
I love my new thrifted bangle bracelet.

My head is missing today – I am still battling a lingering cold/weird flu and was just not ready for full exposure!

I am honored and delighted to have been selected for a Liebster Blog award from blogger Becks of At Her Best. Becks passed this information on:

Liebster means “dearest” in German, and this award is given to bloggers with fewer than 200 followers. The stipulations of the award are as follows:

1. Thank the giver and link back to the blogger who gave it to you.
2. Reveal your 5 blogger picks and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog.
3. Copy and paste the award on your blog.
4. Hope that the people you have sent the award to will forward it to their favorite bloggers.

I have so, so many favorite blogs, so I can’t choose just five! But as a good team player, I will pass this award with pleasure to:

The Dashing Eccentric
The Elegant Bohemian
Not Dressed As Lamb
Style Montreal Sud-Est

Much affection and happiest holiday wishes are sent to you all; I hope your days ahead are filled with peace and joy.

And one of the things I love about blogging is that you get to have honest feedback on your wardrobe choices and also can have different opinions on how to wear something.
    Happy Holidays Patti !

  4. You are lovely as always.  Hope that you are back to perfect health soon and Happy Holidays to you!

  5. I love this sweater, Patti and I hope you feel better soon.  I love all of these blogs…you composed a great list!  Have a wonderful Christmas weekend!

  6. I think this outfit is spot on. I always opt for darker tights on the bottom unless I am going bare legged, it just seems to pull the outfits together! I love your take on this one. Excellent.

  7. Pretty! Looks like it would work for Christmas just as well as midsummer (maybe without the tights!). Hope you feel better and have a lovely holiday!

  8. Patti – Just wanted to tell you again how much I enjoy your blog! I hope you are feeling better soon and wish you many happy returns for Christmas and the New Year 🙂
