How To Add Glam To A Casual Look: Visible Monday

How to add glam to your casual look. My life is 99% casual, and there’s rarely a need to even add lipstick unless I feel like it. But don’t you enjoy getting a shot of glam into your everyday looks? Me too.

Welcome to Visible Monday. If you want to participate, it’s so easy: just go to the bottom of this post for the how-to. Link back to Not Dead Yet Style if you like – we’re on Easy Does It “rules” now!

The chambray wrap top (similar) is by Loft via Poshmark. I adore this color, it’s just like the sky on a clear, cool day. Even though it’s a casual piece, I love the way it fits and flatters. Style tip: use a wrap shirt or dress to create a waist, if that’s a look you like.

The long beaded necklace (similar) was created for me by a friend. And a red lipstick always brings the glam, even to jeans, a tee, and sneakers.

The deep emerald eyelet lace skirt (similar) is also from Loft (retail!). It’s a perfect year-round piece in Florida, as it looks sweet in the winter with an ivory pullover and boots (what are boots??). Lace also adds glam to any look, even if it’s just a hem or cuff.

I had to show you the super-blingy bracelet I picked up at a New York City street market for about $30. (Not) real diamonds, baby! I often wear it with casual outfits to add some glam.

Are you mixing your casual and glam pieces? Show us in the link-up!

I am very happy that I came across this in my hunt for something relating
