What I Wore: Cozy, Casual, Content

It’s not really cool enough here for a sweater (81 degrees today), but I couldn’t wait any longer. How many months in a row can a woman wear a tank top?? So I made a cozy, casual outfit and stayed happy near the air conditioning all day. It’s actually freezing cold in the back room of the thrift store where I volunteer, so I was totally content.

The gorgeous green vee-neck sweater is courtesy of J. Jill. Check them out, they have an abundance of easy knits – tops and bottoms – that feel as good as they look. This sweater is a new favorite, as it’s one of my best colors, as soft as a kitten, and washable. The bib necklace (sim) is thrifted. These boyfriend jeans are my go-to pair, via Old Navy (sim).

The super-comfortable booties are also c/o J. Jill. They are made by Born, a true and long-standing comfort brand. I can wear them with or without hose, and they feel great. In the second picture I added a newly thrifted scarf (sim). I think green and purple are  smart together, don’t you?

I love a longer sweater like this one, that hits just below the hips.

A colorful scarf is an indispensable accessory, especially when most of your closet is neutrals.

  2. Green and purple is one of my favourite colour combinations! I think I would miss not being able to wear cozy sweaters for at least part of the year ( a couple of months would be fine with me). Happy New Year Patti!
