Happy day – I’ve been invited to join February’s Sister Act Project, created by Sheela Goh of the blog Sheela Writes. She’s committed to the concept that style is ageless. For the Sister Act, Sheela invites bloggers from their teens to their, ahem, retirement years, to style a themed outfit. February’s theme is “Sequins and Sneakers.”
Quoting Sheela, her goal with the Sister Act Project is:
” . . . to show the world that style isn’t an age-defining phase, it’s a lifelong adventure. Personally, I’ve never subscribed to the adage of age-appropriate clothing but rather, occasion-appropriate clothing that’s comfortable and fits well, all of which have absolutely nothing to do with how many times we’ve watched the sun come up and go down.”
