Real-Life Fashion Show: How We Wear Red

We’ve come to rely on the amazing visible Women of Visible Monday to spark our style. This week, I noticed all the wonderful reds we wore, as main courses or appetizers. Don’t be afraid of bold colors like red, and if you don’t love red next to your face, do a fabulous skirt, like Glenda of So What To Twenty.
As always, the first tip is: wear the reds you love, styled the way you like, and own your look. Confidence is all.
And there’s always room in my closet for a splash of red:

Jessica from Elegantly Dressed And Stylish looks lovely as always in a deep Merlot Karina dress (the Megan). Her luxe faux fur wrap and vintage style jewelry make the look so feminine and dressy. If true bright/warm red doesn’t suit you, try this rich shade.

Cheryl of Northwest Mountain Living takes her red outdoors, in a cozy hip-length jacket and rugged boots. Red looks wonderful against the snow.

Debbie of Fashion Fairy Dust found her red velvet blazer in the attic and paired it with cool modern pieces: harem pants and a graphic tee. She looks extra-fabulous in this color, so we can safely retire the old “redheads can’t wear red” rule.

Anja of A Heart And Soul Story chose a true red faux wrap dress and mixed it with black and gray for a stunning winter look. Her lipstick is the perfect shade too:.

Andrea of Living On Cloud Nine is so freaking cute in her red plaid shift and Hunter boots. Her front porch looks so inviting:

Maureen of Decorate Me Age-Mazing dressed up her Santa Baby Diva in a red velvet top and hat, go-go boots, and a Christmas tree skirt. Now this is an outfit that will make you the center of all attention at the office party  : >
