An easy any-day, anywhere look. It’s wonderful to have some outfits in your closet that you can toss on any day, add an accessory or two, and go anywhere, feeling good. It could be a favorite skirt and blouse combo, a loose and minimal jumpsuit, or a simple combination of classics.

Welcome to Visible Monday. If you want to participate, it’s so easy: just go to the bottom of this post for the how-to. Link back to Not Dead Yet Style if you like – we’re on Easy Does It “rules” now!

Today, I decided to have new experiences in a simple, preppy look: a striped menswear shirt (thrifted), dark cuffed jeans and a navy blazer. Not suitable, maybe, for tea with the Queen, but for my casual life, it works. Add a beret (c/o Eva Trends), sunglasses (the future is bright!), colorful sneaker-oxfords, and a pearl bracelet, why not?

I’ll need a parka to roam around Greenwich Village, though. Photo via Pixabay.

This outfit is easy to change up: I could swap the jeans for cropped black trousers and the oxfords for sleek booties. Or switch out the cotton shirt for a silk blouse to make the look more feminine. A different hat or scarf, or a pendant would be stylish too.

Ah, the Netherlands, so gorgeous. A stroll across the bridge, then we’ll stop for coffee. Photo via Pixabay.

  7. Wow! Another great look, Patti! Tres chic. : )

I just got a thrifted, casual (no buttons but it has pockets) black Eileen Fisher blazer in stretchy material and first paired it with a ZZ Top rock t-shirt, faded wide leg denim jeans and Chelsea boots, then a few days later dolled it up for a chamber music concert with a few vintage rhinestone brooches, large silver earrings from Thailand, straight leg black jeans, a black, v-neck cashmere sweater and patent leather kitten heel boots. Now that I don’t work a corporate job, blazers are fun again!
