On The Sidewalks of New York

On the sidewalks of New York. That’s where I want to be – and here we are. It’s a beautiful 80 degree day, and we put in our usual six miles on foot. That’s the best way to see the city, don’t you think? I dressed simply in a cotton skirt, linen top and my new expensive sneakers (that are only as comfortable as my old cheap ones – so the quest continues  : > )

At Sheridan Square Park, with the life size sculptures. The Stonewall Inn is right behind us, considered the birthplace of the gay rights movement.

It’s my 61st birthday and Sandy insists I am a “Ten”, or as I like to say, not bad for an old broad. So he asked me to pose here, sweet man.

And he gave me this vintage bracelet, found at the Citizen Rosebud shop. It’s got a mix of vintage elements, including a locket that opens, and lovely butterflies.

I composed this on my tablet, so please forgive errors of presentation! Have a wonderful midweek and stay fabulous,
